Prepaid 6 Issue Discount If you book space for 6 issues, you only pay for 5 issues! Applies to all ad sizes.
Discount does not apply to colour, premium space, setup or ad revision fees.
Ad Setup Fee A one time $20 initial charge is applied to setup all new ads. If you have an existing ad
on file with us, there is no setup charge. There is no setup charge to new ads which are
provided camera ready, properly sized and formatted according to the chart below.
Ad Revisions $10 per revision if you change the contents of your desired ad copy from what was
originally provided to us. There is no charge for spelling, grammar, spacing edits or our
errors in your proof.
Ad Placement $20 per issue if you wish to have a specific location (page # and location on the page).
This is done on a first come first served basis. Existing premium space customers will
have first right of refusal on a quarterly basis. Shop the Shore Publications Inc. reserves
the right to place ads at our discretion if no placement premium is paid.
Premium Placement Ads There are premium advertising spaces on the front cover, back cover and index page.

Payments and Bookings All new ads are payable with Visa, MasterCard, cheque or cash upon booking, no later
than published quarterly deadlines. Shop The Shore Publications Inc. reserves the right
to not place an advertisement if there is an account balance owing at the quarterly
deadline.
Street Date The Cole Harbour Merchant is a local advertiser supplied to approximately 20,000 homes
of Distribution in and around your area. It is directly inserted into the Chronicle Herald and flyer packs at
the beginning of March, June, September & December for home delivery.

Deadlines For booking ad space, submitting your ad copy and making payment arrangements, the
deadline is the 7th of the month preceeding the distribution date for the following issue’s
publication.
Cancellations Ads cancelled after the 15th day of the preceeding month are non refundable.

If you are supplying Artwork, our preferred file format is PDF/X-1a (2001). Adobe CS
(Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop) files are acceptable, as well as high resolution jpg
files at correct dimensions.
If we are to create the ad, all images for ads should be provided at or above our
minimum resoltion of 266dpi (300dpi is recommended). Image files should be CMYK in
.jpg format. Vector format (.ai or .pdf) is recommended where possible. Please outline
fonts and embed images.
